Simple and humble
The Humble Heart
Jesus taught that true greatness does not come from wealth, power, status, or recognition, but from a humble heart. He said, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5), and repeatedly reminded His followers that those who humble themselves will be exalted.
A humble person does not need to prove their worth to others. They serve without demanding praise, forgive without seeking revenge, listen before judging, and remain grateful even when they have achieved success. Humility is not weakness; it is the strength to remain kind when you have power and gentle when you have every reason to be proud.
Jesus Himself demonstrated this humility through His life—serving others, welcoming the poor and rejected, and placing love above status and recognition.
The world may celebrate the loud, the powerful, and the wealthy, but Jesus taught us to look deeper. God sees the heart. A humble heart may remain unnoticed by people, yet it can be precious in the eyes of God.
True exaltation, therefore, is not about standing above others. It is about becoming a person who can lift others up.
