Vomit

Vomiting is a reaction of the body to foreign substances, irritants, infections, or disorders affecting the stomach and digestive system. Common causes include food contamination, gastritis, acid reflux, and other gastric conditions. It is important to check whether vomiting is associated with fever, abdominal pain, or other symptoms.

If vomiting occurs together with loose stools (diarrhea), it may indicate gastroenteritis. In such cases, dehydration is a common complication. Drink plenty of fluids, including oral rehydration solutions (ORS), king coconut water, or Jeewani, to replace lost fluids and electrolytes.

Seek immediate medical attention if vomiting is persistent, severe, associated with signs of dehydration, blood in the vomit, severe abdominal pain, difficulty breathing, or if you are unable to keep fluids down.

If the symptoms do not improve or continue, please consult a healthcare practitioner without delay.
